Q. Can I try dresses on?

A. Yes. In fact, we’d love it if you did. We are based just a couple of miles outside of Newcastle upon Tyne city centre. Please get in touch to arrange an appointment.


Q. How do I make an appointment to view the dresses?

Q. Do you offer an alteration service?

A. No, we don’t.


Q. How will I know a particular dress will fit me?

A. As vintage sizing is different to today, all dresses are measured lying flat.


Q. Do you accept returns?

A. Yes. All of our dresses are sold with a fourteen day return policy. Try in the comfort of your own home and we will accept any return, provided it is sent back to us in the same condition.


Q. I like more than one dress. Can I order more than one and return the others?

A. Yes. Please see our returns policy above.


Q. Is return postage free?

A. Yes. Return postage will be refunded by The Twins Pieces upon receipt


Q. Are your dresses and accessories true vintage?

A. Yes, although some have been refashioned to give them a contemporary silhouette.


Q. What if the dress doesn’t fit me?

A. We will be happy to refund you as per our returns policy. However, if you like the dress then it will be worth consulting a dressmaker to find out if it can be altered to fit before you do this.


Q. What condition are the  dresses in?

A. All of our dresses are in ‘Very Good’ or ‘Excellent’ vintage condition. All are cleaned, repaired and restored where appropriate before sale. Small flaws that remain are few and will in no way detract from the beauty of the dress. We will be happy to provide more detailed information about any dress. Just get in touch.


Q. Can you recommend other suppliers for my wedding?

A. Yes. We have an excellent relationship with a number of suppliers to complement  your Pieces dress.
